A Letter from Jack’s Grandmother Linda
Jack is the candidate for Somerville Seniors!
Dear Neighbors,
In a few days we will choose our next City Councilor, and I am writing to ask you to support my grandson Jack.
I’ve always been proud of Jack and the work he has done in our community to promote civic engagement and to help good people get elected—especially our current Councilor Beatriz Gómez. With our Councilor stepping away this year, I couldn’t be more proud to be supporting my grandson to succeed her.
Jack knows the political and municipal system well. As a licensed Parliamentarian he has the experience we need to get someone who will actually implement changes that make living in Somerville better. Jack has served on city advisory committees helping to protect our city’s trees, increase green space, and support our local ecosystem—and has experience with how city government works. Moreover, Jack has a vision for our city that includes a critical focus for seniors.
As our Councillor Jack will prioritize:
Making Somerville affordable, especially by maintaining older homes
Creating accessible streets and sidewalks
Helping seniors stay in their homes and stay connected with the community
Quickly and competently removing snow in the winter
Making accessible parking at businesses and in neighborhoods
Getting you quick responses from government departments
He is committed to ensuring everyone can live in this city together—and that no one feels pushed out. Jack has the experience, dedication, and determination to serve our community with unwavering commitment. As a Somerville Senior actually in his household, I know he sees these issues in our city, and has the drive and attention to address it.
Join me in voting for my grandson by dropping off a mail-in ballot in a blue drop box or at the polls on Election Day Tuesday, November 7th from 7 am to 8 pm at either the Armory or the Kennedy School.
